Duties:

  • Update tracker from company database and populate fields (e.g. cost, Batch codes)Starting Customer complaint investigation forms and send out to relevant personChase departments on open any Investigations
  • Take sufficient minutes of 2 short daily H&S morning meetings. Important but fairly informal.
  • Take minutes of SHEQ annual meeting.
  • Employees from each department (approx. 6) - noting minutes and filing these.Assist with audits in terms of getting documents ready.
  • Carrying out the administration i.e. recording for ToolBox Talks which involves the following:

Update ToolBox Talk register Gather missing Toolbox Talks information from recipients.Print and distribute where requiredFiling / checking

Distribution of Safety Alerts (emailing and placing around site)

  • Update Site Compliance Register (Monthly)Update the question banks and upload onto system.
  • Ensure Noticeboards are regularly updated across the site.
  • Update TV Slides again situated across the site; this is a desk top digital activity.
  • Email correspondence with Contractors.
  • Administration of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health. This information needs to be carefully filed so it can be retrieved with ease.
  • Obtain safety data sheets from suppliers (can sometimes be retrieved from suppliers' websites)Complete Assessments (after training)Update register
  • Update SHEQ dashboard from Benchmark (every morning)
  • Assessments and tracker updates
  • Training Matrix development and update / chase
  • Maintain records of Hand Arm Vibration checks and email out to relevant departments
  • General Admin Work: General email enquiries, Printing/laminating for plants e.g., notices/temporary signs etc. General Filing
  • Daily Reject cost reports
  • Record Accident and Incident follow up actions
  • And any other duties Required

Personal Profile:

  • SHE experience/knowledge is required
  • SHE qualifications desirable but not essential
  • There may be a requirement to travel to another local site.
  • You will need transport because there are some occasions when you need to pop to another local site to carry out some H&S administration.
  • Attention to details is absolutely key in this role.

Hours: 9am - 4pm. There is a possibility that this could go permanent but there are no guarantees.
