Job Overview

We are seeking experienced, confident, and reliable Healthcare Assistants. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in various healthcare settings, providing both advanced and short-notice cover. You will play a vital role as part of a team, ensuring a high standard of resident care.

Key Responsibilities:-

-Assist in implementing and managing prescribed resident care packages.

-Support residents in meeting their basic care needs.

-Work under the supervision of qualified nursing staff while maintaining high standards.

Essential Skills:-

-Ability to use initiative and prioritize patient care needs.

-Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Strong communication skills.

-Motivation to learn and maintain a mature, responsible attitude.

Knowledge:

-Understanding of caregiving and empathy towards patients with care needs.

-Training and Experience Requirements

Essential Training:

-Relevant statutory and mandatory training (e.g., Manual Handling, First Aid, -Basic Life Support, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene/Infection Control, Nutrition, and Hydration).

Experience:

-Minimum of 6 months in the UK care sector, preferably in a Mental Health Hospital or Ward.

Other Requirements:

-Ability to travel to various locations during unsocial hours.
