The Role This is a dynamic role for an Assistant Director of Medical Workforce-someone who is ready to make a significant contribution. You'll be results-driven and focused on making impactful changes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance on medical workforce-related matters such as terms and conditions, employee relations, job planning, appraisals, and rev.
  • Managing rota design, education, development, and transformation initiatives within the medical workforce.
  • Developing and reviewing medical workforce policies in line with NHS guidelines, ensuring compliance with legislation.
  • Creating and managing employee relations interventions that have measurable, positive impacts.

The Individual

We're looking for individuals who can demonstrate:

  • Current UK NHS experience is essential, particularly in medical workforce management.
  • MCIP qualification or equivalent with expertise in leadership and policy development.
  • A solid background in driving workforce transformation, managing employee relations, and workforce policy.
  • Strong knowledge of NHS systems, with a focus on compliance and legal adherence.
  • Willingness to work under the Trust's Direct Engagement model and comply with the Workforce Alliance Framework.
