Looking for that stand alone role where you have total autonomy over the Reward function? Our client, a 500 strong global business, has recently been through a large transformation including the appointment of a new CEO, re-alignment and right-sizing of the business and a flattening of the structure. As part of this change, the business is now looking to design and build a new Reward offering across multiple countries within the EMEA, US and APAC regions, and this role will lead on it!

Key highlights of the the role will be to look at building a new Global benefits package and review and re-align a new bonus structure to reward high performers and help build a performance based culture.

Reporting into the Global Head of People, you will have ownership for:

  • The redesign of an outdated Reward system to provide a modern, flexible and affordable Reward and Benefits offering which meets employee needs and drives performance.
  • Overseeing benefits implementation, renewals, and administration, supported by the People team to administer the schemes globally.
  • Leading the global annual salary review end to end from budgeting through to payment.
  • Leading and managing the bonus review on an annual basis to ensure fit for purpose and competitive and aligned with the company values and strategy.
  • Taking the lead in designing and implementing a global well-being strategy.
  • Maintaining and managing relationships with third party suppliers, delivering a world class people experience whilst operating within budget.

Key Background:

  • Proven reward and benefits experience gained within a global company.
  • Demonstrable experience of initiating, leading, and implementing key reward projects for various departments and seniority levels.
  • Experience of the technical and legal aspects of reward/compensation.
  • Understanding of pension scheme implementation.
  • Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems particularly Willis Towers Watson.
  • Familiarity with various types of incentives and benefits and global market differences.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills (v-lookup, x-lookup, pivot tables if statements etc.).
  • Experience of working with third party vendors.
  • Effective communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Experience of statutory reporting of compensation in different jurisdictions i.e. Gender Pay or CEO ratio, is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of payroll and generalist HR is desirable but not essential.
