On behalf of a leading life sciences organisation located in Cambridgeshire, I am recruiting for a detailed-oriented HR Operattions Specialist candidate with experience of working within HR Operations. This hybrid permanent opportunity (1 - 2 days in the office a week), will have responsibility for administration and operational activities across the entire employer lifecycle, focusing on candidate, employee and manager experience.

Acting as the first point of contact, ensuring a comprehensive, efficient and high-quality service. Including but not limited to:

  • Onboarding
  • Offboarding
  • HR Systems & analytics
  • HR Governance & compliance

Working alongside the wider HR team you will be involved in:

  • Producing, establishing and maintaining company documentation, (Employer handbook, principles, policies and procedures).
  • Continuous improvements, simplification and streamlining
  • Drive consistency
  • Partner with Finance regarding payroll change information
  • Partner with benefits advice providers, providing data and coordinating benefits communications to employers
  • HR Systems and analytics, including reporting structures, digitised filling systems aligned to GDPR are kept up to date.
  • Ownership of data integrity
  • Ad hoc activities

The ideal candidate:

  • Attention to detail is crucial
  • Experience of working with in both a UK and US company would be ideal.
  • Experience of working within the Life Science Sector would be preferred.
  • Have a passion for HR operations and continual improvement
  • Technical aptitude for HR software and digital processes
  • Experience of payroll and benefits is highly advantageous
  • A confident individual that is comfortable interfacing with various levels within the organisation.

You will be joining an HR Operation team comprising of 4 colleagues.

Essentially you will be able to demonstrate being a natural problem-solver, adaptability, strong interpersonal skills, comfortable in representing HR across the organisation and most of all be passionate and proud of what you do professionally.
