I am looking for an Order Desk Administrator to join my highly innovative and successful client at their offices in Waterbeach. The role is offered on a part time basis, 18 hours a week covering between 3-5 days.

Generous salary of between £27500 - £28800 (£12500 - £14000 when pro rata'd for 18 hours)

Good range of company benefits/perksWorking alongside the Order Desk and Stores team, you will collate and store a comprehensive set of records for shipments. You will also update customers with shipping information and assist with other administrative tasks as needed.Your Role:

  • Accurately maintain a log of every export shipment and collate evidence from multiple sources
  • Ensure goods are collected by customers and exported out of the UK within expected timescales
  • Create a comprehensive record per shipment, which includes all related shipment documentation / export evidence
  • Chase freight forwarders as necessary to ensure completeness of records
  • Share shipment details with customers on a daily basis
  • Able to work efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy
  • Suits someone who is very organised, methodical and has strong attention to detail

Your Day to Day:

Work with the Order Desk team to obtain details of upcoming shipments and preparing an export log

  • Using details of the previous day's shipments to maintain the log, and to compile a record of evidence per shipment - collaborating with the Stores personnel as necessary
  • Notifying customers each day of shipments, including tracking details and serial number records
  • Assisting the Order Desk team with other administrative tasks as deemed necessary

This role will also require Security Clearance (provided by the client).What you need to succeedQualifications:

  • GCSE's

Experience and Skills:

  • Good skills with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Good communication skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

Nice to have:Qualifications

  • A-levels or equivalent

Experience and Skills

  • Customer service / order desk or export experience will be highly beneficial
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics / 365
