Job Title: Finance Assistant
Location: Cambourne, Cambridge
Contract Details:Fixed Term Contract, 12 months
Salary: £27,000-£30,000 depending on experience
Working Pattern: Full Time (3 days in the office, 3 days at home)

Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy and compliance by meticulously reviewing finance-related documents, such as payment and reimbursement documents, purchase requisitions, asset management changes, and legal documents.
- Monitor and enforce company policy by overseeing the use of Company Credit cards.
- Process purchase orders and maintain an organised purchasing system.
- Maintain control over Asset Management.
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Carry out month-end responsibilities, such as amortisation of prepayments, depreciation, accruals, balance sheet reconciliation adjustments, and GL review.
Essential:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle financial data accurately.
- Proficiency in finance-related software and reporting systems.
- A solid understanding of finance processes and practises.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a similar finance role.
- Relevant finance qualification or degree.
- Familiarity with asset management systems.
Technologies:
