With a strong reputation in employment law, our client is looking to expand its highly regarded team, seeking an enthusiastic Employment Solicitor (1-4 PQE). Role Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice to a diverse range of clients, including businesses and individuals, on a variety of contentious and non-contentious employment-related matters. You will work closely with senior lawyers and have exposure to high-quality work, with opportunities for hands-on experience in complex and varied cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on a broad spectrum of employment matters, including but not limited to, employment disputes, discrimination claims, redundancy, TUPE, restrictive covenants, and contracts of employment
  • Representing clients in employment tribunals and managing the preparation and presentation of cases
  • Assisting with high-value and high-profile cases, providing legal support on both contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents, including employment contracts, settlement agreements, and policy documents
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients
  • Contributing to the growth of the employment practice by engaging in business development activities and marketing initiatives

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years PQE in Employment Law, with strong experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong legal research and drafting abilities
  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage a varied and demanding caseload
  • A team player who is keen to contribute to the overall success of the employment team
  • Ambitious, with a genuine interest in developing your career within employment law
