Polish Speaking Warehouse Despatch Administrator

Warehouse and Logistics Manager (with the potential to move into a Despatch Admin team)


Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Polish-speaking individual to take on the role of Warehouse Despatch Administrator. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the UK sales dispatch process, acting as the primary link between the administrative team and the warehouse. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and grow within a successful company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Despatch Administration:
    • Use courier software to create despatch labels.
    • Ensure all parcels and pallets are accurately labelled.
    • Book UK pallet collections.
    • In future, take on export administration duties as part of the despatch team.
    • Provide carriage quotes to sales teams.
  • Communication:
    • Maintain effective communication between the warehouse and other departments.
    • Ensure accurate data entry and proper completion of paperwork.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Provide cover and support to colleagues in administrative roles as needed.
  • Adapt and grow with the role, taking on new responsibilities.
  • Uphold honesty and ethical standards in all tasks.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues.
  • Comply with company and Health & Safety guidelines, particularly in lifting heavy goods and maintaining workplace cleanliness.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
  • Occasionally, you may be asked to perform tasks outside of regular working hours to support overall warehouse operations and business needs.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE/T Levels or equivalent in Maths and English, with C/4 grades or above.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office, internet, and email.
  • Good telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a similar industry.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with couriers and pallet distribution companies.
  • Familiarity with export administration is a plus.
