We are recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor to join an established business based in Huntingdon.You will be supervising a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring smooth day to day running of warehouse- 6 staff.Key responsibilities
  • Plan and co-ordinate incoming goods, storage and picking & despatch of goods in a timely and efficient manner to achieve the objectives and KPl's as determined by the reporting Manager.
  • Safe and efficient loading of company and sub-contractor vehicles.
  • Responsible for leading and encouraging health & safety in the warehouse
  • As key holder - responsible for site security.
  • Be available for stock take, usually once a year which may include weekend working.
  • Other general duties to maintain efficient working of warehouse and yard.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required within reasonable request.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Implement the company health and safety polices to ensure a safe working conditions and practices within the yard and warehouse areas. Welfare of alt staff, sub-contractors and visitors to site.

  • Hold appropriate forklift licenses.
