Are you an Engineer with generator experience looking to join an award-winning UK company that provides on-the-job training, company car, and a progression opportunities?

Do you want to work a 4 on 4 off on a night shift pattern that will give you flexibility and a work life balance?

This fast-growing company are UK leaders in critical power installations, sales, hire and maintenance. They are looking to take on skilled Engineers to keep up with an ever increasing workload.

In this varied role, you will cover a regional area in East Anglia, taking responsibility for both planned and reactive maintenance of a range of generators. You will diagnose faults and carry out breakdown repairs, while also assisting other engineers as needed. Additionally, you will work closely with the coordinator to ensure maintenance tasks are efficiently scheduled and planned.

In this role would suit a Mechanical / Electrical Engineer with a generator experience who is looking for a role in a UK leading company that offer progression opportunities, overtime and the potential to increase your salary package through overtime.


The Role:

  • Performing scheduled and on-demand maintenance on a variety of generators
  • Working a 12-hour shift pattern (4 on / 4 off) exclusively on nights
  • 10% shift allowance for night work
  • Occasionally assisting other engineers in the field, with a company vehicle provided
  • Diagnosing faults and performing breakdown repairs
  • Liaising with Coordinators to ensure efficient scheduling and planning


The Person:

  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineer or qualified to NVQ Level 2 or above
  • Experience with generators ranging from 20-1500kVA
  • Able to perform risk assessments
  • Full UK driving licence
