Working for an innovative and exciting engineering company, this is a great opportunity for an Applications Engineer looking for a new challenge.

You will be working on technically interesting and varied projects for a range of sectors, providing design support such as creating and updating drawings, BOMs and other technical documentation for the project. Working closely with clients to understand their requirements, creating solutions for them, approvals, sourcing specialist components and managing all aspects from initial contact through to project build and completion, you will be adept at managing projects effectively and efficiently.

Projects are global and experience of working within highly regulated sectors such as oil/gas or familiarity with DSEAR, ATEX or hazardous environments would be useful. Electro-mechanical experience would be useful as products can be complex, a good range of engineering knowledge is needed. With relevant engineering qualifications (mechanical, electro-mechanical, product design, mechatronics, electrical, electronic or similar), you are likely to have experience from within similar applications, projects or design oriented roles.

A creative problem solver, highly organised, methodical and with good CAD skills, this is a great opportunity to join an engineering company who have a broad, highly technical and interesting range of products which are supplied globally across various sectors.

This role may suit an experienced engineer or equally someone looking to progress their career within applications and project engineering.

This role is easily commutable from Cambridge, Chatteris, Ely, Huntingdon, Newmarket, Peterborough, Wisbech, Kings Lynn, Royston, Thetford, Mildenhall, St Neots and many more places within the East of England.
