Join our client's dedicated team as a Laboratory Sampler and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of water services. This position is based in North Lincolnshire and offers a unique opportunity to combine scientific expertise with exceptional customer service.
Day-to-day of the role:- Collect water samples from various recycling centres and directly from customers in the North Lincolnshire area.
- Engage with customers on-site, answering questions about the sampling process and ensuring a positive experience with high-quality service.
- Prepare sampling bottles meticulously, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Safely transport samples back to the laboratory, where they are critical to the analysis process.
- Build strong working relationships with laboratory colleagues.
- Adhere to precise scientific processes and regulatory standards to ensure water quality.
- A scientific background or A Level qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
- Experience in providing excellent customer service.
- Comfortable with manual lifting and driving throughout the day.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, maintaining focus and attention to detail.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and live within the North Lincolnshire area.
- Availability to participate in a 1 in 4 weekend working rota.
