Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make a significant impact in the education sector? Our client is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead strategic HR initiatives and contribute to an inclusive workforce while fostering a culture of excellence.

As the Senior HR Business Partner, you will deliver strategic and operational leadership ensuring your business area has a high quality, responsive business partnering, resourcing and HR administration functions. You will be instrumental in developing HR and workforce plans ensuring they align with the changing strategic need sand aims of your department and wider organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will lead two teams to deliver comprehensive, seamless and customer focused people services including HR business partnering, workforce planning, resourcing, pay and reward and supporting equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI).
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives and strategies ensuring they are aligned with the People strategy and vision.
  • Develop and implement HR and workforce plans that meet strategic objectives of your department and wider organisation.
  • Monitor and review people management data to identify risks and trends to seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide expert advice and innovative solutions to senior stakeholders on complex HR matters including case management, policy development and organisational change.
  • Partner with senior leaders to deliver transformational HR initiatives that foster and promote an inclusive and engaged workforce.
  • Lead on the management and implementation of pay and reward schemes across your business area.
  • Foster excellent relationships with stakeholders to ensure responsive HR services.
  • Lead initiatives that promote a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Candidate Requirements

  • Significant experience in a business partnering role including up to date working knowledge of current employment legislation, policies, and practices within a complex environment preferably public sector.
  • Experience of advising and influencing senior management regarding HR strategy and people related matters.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop high performing teams.
  • Experience in consulting and delivering effective organisational change projects, including interventions to shape culture, and overcome barriers to change.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong influential working relationships with all stakeholders including senior leaders.
  • Hold a professional CIPD qualification or equivalent.
