Title: Communications and Content Assistant
Rate: £16 per hour
Type: Temporary - 6 months
Location: New Shire Hall/ Hybrid working - 2 days office attendance
Opus People Solutions are working with Cambridgeshire County Council to recruit for an interim Communication and Content Assistant; to be a brand champion, helping to ensure all internal content adheres to Cambridgeshire’s brand guidelines, style guide and is accessible.
Main Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinating and writing content for our intranet, internal newsletters and Viva Engage channel and ensuring they are issued in a timely manner.
- Maintaining our Microsoft Dynamics newsletter system for the internal communications team and departmental newsletters.
- Evaluating communications effectiveness by producing a monthly report on internal communications activity.
- Researching content for internal campaigns.
- Creating engaging copy, infographics, video and photography for use across all internal communication channels.
- Supporting the internal communications function by monitoring the internal communications inbox.
- Providing support at internal events and workshops - including booking venues, setting up AV, registering delegates, capturing feedback etc.
- Supporting internal departments to set up and maintain intranet areas and team channels.
- Ensuring all internal content is accessible, on-brand and adheres to our style guidelines.

The successful applicant will hold a key role in helping us to produce internal newsletters, campaigns across our internal channels, updates for employees on our intranet and supporting the team at events.
