Reed Cambridge Business Support is working with a business in Huntingdon and they are looking for a Sampler Scheduler to join their team. This role is crucial in assisting the provision of a high-quality, timely, flexible, and accurate sampling programme to meet both regulatory and business needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Planning the workload for the Laboratory samplers - what points they need to go to, for them to meet their sampling targets
  • Support the Laboratory Operations Manager in creating an accurate and efficient sampling schedule
  • Being re-active and re-routing workload - e.g. an emergency sample they need to take - re-routing a sampler to that point or if they have a reported water issue again re-routing someone to get the sample ASAP
  • Communicate effectively with Sampling Managers and samplers to manage unplanned absences and update the sampling schedule accordingly.
  • Support in capturing all planned absences and ensuring they are approved weekly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in laboratory operations or a similar role.
  • Strong scheduling and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records.
