Primary School Supply Teacher

St Ives

£140 - £150 a day

We, Randstad Education, are currently recruiting for Primary School Supply Teachers who are based in and around St Ives to help our local primary schools cover for their permanent staff when they are on training courses, doing PPA or are unwell. We are looking for Teachers who are adaptable and diverse with teaching techniques and who can quickly build rapport and trust with students and staff to foster a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Motivate and inspire young learners
  • Track student progress and collaborate with parents

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential
  • Engaging and interactive teaching style
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2) curriculum
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not an option)
