Technical Agile Scrum Master / Project Manager

Location: Huntingdon (predominantly on-site)

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Scrum Masters and Agile Project Managers to join our client's dynamic team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and delivering geospatial projects, directly supporting the UK's national security.

This role requires prior experience delivering Geospatial projects such as GIS or IMINT, and if you have experience with the ESRI platform that would also be beneficial.

To be eligible for this role you must already hold UKSV / MoD DV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Ensure the team follow Agile principles and mentor/ coach the team on Agile methodologies where appropriate.
  • Remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from external industry partners and the MoD.
  • Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs and new requests.
  • Track project progress and manage risks and issues.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and any changes to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience working on geospatial projects.
  • Ideally, experience working with the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Must hold active UKSV DV clearance.
