Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: - Cambridgeshire

Salary: - £60,000 - £75,000 (DOE) + Car Option + Package

Role Description

The Resolute Group are working with a Civil Engineering contractor that has secured a package of works and looks to on board a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor.

As a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyors, you will be checking the accounts and ensuring that the work is undertaken correctly.

Day to day duties for a Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Managing a small team of Quantity Surveyors delivering live Highway schemes and other minor projects.
  • Oversee the detailed bills of quantities and cost breakdowns.
  • Monitor project costs against your package of works.
  • Support with the management of the sub-contractor costs and payments.
  • Report and Manage variations, claims, and other contractual issues that may arise.
  • Mentor and manage the quantity surveyors, looking at the leadership and training aspects.
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships both internally and with external sub-contractors.
  • Compile tender settlement documentation.

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Construction related Degree Certificate / Degree
  • IT Literate in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Clean)
