Location: Cambridge, Peterborough, Huntingdon, and surrounding areas (mainly hospital-based in location nearest you with flexibility to cover nearby locations)


Salary: £28,000 per annum + excellent benefits


Hours: Full-time or Part-time

(74, 50, or 40-hour contracts over two weeks - shifts from 08:00 - 16:00 or 13:00 - 21:00, plus two overnight on-call shifts)

As a Senior Care Worker with us, youll be part of a unique service that provides vital support to unpaid carers. Your work will include:


  • Giving unpaid carers the breaks they need by providing interim support to those they care for.
  • Offering emergency response assistance to carers in crisis.
  • Supporting hospital discharge services and helping prevent avoidable admissions.
  • Working alongside our homecare team to assess needs, plan care, and deliver compassionate service.

What You Bring -Senior Care Worker (Rapid Responder) - Cambridgeshire



  • Experience: Person-centered care, ideally in a domiciliary or homecare setting
  • Skills: Excellent communication, strong IT abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge: Understanding of legislative care standards and the ability to work to high compliance
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred but not essential)
