- Complete statutory home visits for CiN, CP and CIC cases, recording outcomes promptly.
- Chair CiN and Core Group meetings; prepare and present clear conference reports.
- Manage cases within PLO and s31 care proceedings, producing court reports, risk and parenting assessments, and attending hearings with senior support.
- Contribute to the duty rota, responding to immediate safeguarding concerns.
- Attend Initial and Review Child Protection Conferences (ICPC/RCPC) and multi-agency forums.
- Continually assess and manage risk using strengths-based Family Safeguarding tools and interventions.
- Qualified Social Worker (BA/MA/DipSW) with Social Work England registration.
- Proven experience in statutory children’s social care, including CiN, CP and court work.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and the Family Safeguarding model.
- Strong assessment, report-writing and communication skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with children, families and partner agencies.
- Commitment to reflective practice, equality and professional development.
- Hybrid working (typically 2–3?days in the office; the rest remote).
