A supportive and inclusive SEN school in Soham, is seeking a qualified English Teacher to join their team. They are flexible on full-time or part-time hours, and the position is term-time only (39 weeks including 5 inset days) and permanent.

About You :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and above, with the ability to deliver basic skills in other subjects.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a disciplined yet nurturing environment.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills to create engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Ability to assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, equal opportunities, and promoting student well-being.
  • Willingness to contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support the school's ethos and policies.
