- Teach, supervise, and assess learners across a variety of locations and programmes within SEND, at levels including pre-entry and above.
- Organise assessment opportunities in line with awarding body requirements to promote learner achievement.
- Monitor, action plan, track, and review learners’ progress regularly.
- Maintain and complete assessment records and action plans.
- Provide feedback and reports on learners’ progress to colleagues, employers, and learners.
- Prepare and maintain resources and the learning environment (e.g., workshops or studios).
- Assist with external events such as student skill competitions and industry visits.
- Support recruitment efforts, including participating in Open Days and special events.
- Attend Faculty, team, and cross-college meetings as required.
- Minimum of Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Vocational skills or practical experience in hospitality/catering and life skills.
- Extensive experience working with learners with a range of learning disabilities.
- Experience delivering training and assessment at Entry Level to Level 1.
