My client, a steel Fabrication company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join their Steel Shop team based in Cambridgeshire
The role will be predominately office based although some site/client visits may be required as and when. The role will require working from architectural and structural detailed drawings so previous experience and knowledge of this is essential.
You will analyse the customer's requirements and using accurate material, fabrication and labour costs provide a quality written submission for the project and assist in the compiling of pre-qualifications and re-bid submissions.
Skills and Knowledge.
- 2-3 years relevant structural steel estimating experience within a similar environment.
- Excellent time management, interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
- Good working knowledge of the Steel industry best practices and standards.
- Excellent IT and numeracy skills with the ability to work with standard software packages such as Excel
- The ability to travel and perform client/site visits when required.

Salary:
- 35,000 to 55,000 per annum - Salary will be dependent on knowledge and experience.
