An exciting Senior Supply Chain leadership opportunity working for this inspirational Cambridge success story. Following an acquisition, this newly created role will take ownership of and drive synergies across the existing supply chain functions. With full autonomy to create and develop a best in class function across a global footprint, this role will provide leadership across all procurement, manufacturing, logistics and inventory management activities and is focused on driving productivity and efficiency, securing cost reduction targets and maximising commercial leverage.Key areas of focus will include: leading and developing the supply chain teams; developing and embedding a supply chain strategy that is aligned with the organisation's objectives; risk management mitigation across the supply chain; driving long-term partnerships with suppliers; ensure logistics networks are optimised and that inventory management systems are fit for purpose; develop and embed a sustainability strategy across the supply chain; and provide supply chain leadership across the organisation.

To succeed in this high-profile role, you will have demonstrable supply chain leadership expertise in a pharmaceutical, chemicals or related industry. Degree qualified, you will have a robust understanding of supply chain best practices and regulatory requirements. You will have an in-depth understanding of risk management within the supply chain and you will have experience of managing global stakeholders and strong working knowledge of ERP systems.With exceptional communication and relationship building skills, you will have demonstrable ability in developing and managing multi-site teams and of driving a culture of continuous improvement.
