Logistics Project Manager Location: Huntingdon with ocassional travelSalary: £60,000 - £65,000
Are you an experienced Logistics Project Manager looking for a dynamic and challenging role? We are seeking a results-driven professional to lead key projects, including site openings, contract implementations, and new system integrations, while managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
As a Logistics Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact projects that drive operational efficiency and business growth. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless execution of logistics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee logistics projects, including new site launches, contract implementations, and system upgrades.Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.Identify and mitigate risks, providing proactive solutions to challenges.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Communicate project progress effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
What our Client is looking for:
Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or project management.Strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.Experience with site openings, contract implementations, and system integrations.Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.Knowledge of logistics systems and processes.Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable.
