Our Huntingdon based client are seeking a skilled and experienced Tool Maker to join their Engineering/Workshop team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in toolmaking in a workshop environment and a keen eye for detail.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and maintain a variety of tools used in production
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand requirements and improve tooling processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing tools to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Due to the nature of this role, there will be a certain amount of heavy lifting involved.

Skills / Experience

  • Proficient in using CNC equipment and also manual lathes, mills, and other tool-making equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Hours & Pay

08:00 until 16:00 / Monday to Friday

£13.50/£15.00 per hour
