My client based in Huntingdon are currently seeking a Travel Executive on the full-time permanent basis. You would carry responsibility for your own group tour programmes from start to finish and would be wholly responsible for their successful execution and profitability.

· Hours - 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday

· Salary - £24,000 - £27,000 depending on experience + Bonus depending on individual and company performance.

· Mostly office based with some flexibility for hybrid working (based on experience and once fully trained)

Responsibilities include:

· Planning itineraries

· Negotiating and contracting with suppliers (hotels, transport, restaurants, guides, attractions, etc)

· Sourcing specialist and technical/study visits where required

· Writing itineraries

· Managing the financial accounts for each individual group and generally overseeing the successful operation of the files in your charge.

· Confidence in dealing with people face to face, by telephone, and in written correspondence, is important as you will deal with clients and suppliers on a daily basis.

· Good knowledge of British and European geography

· Personable and able to talk to people

· Language skills are a distinct advantage (particularly Italian)
