Your new role reports to the Head of Financial Reporting with the following responsibilities
- Manage the Group monthly consolidation process creation in an accurate, timely and efficient way.
- Build an in-depth understanding of our business and processes and provide unique insight into our numbers;
- Managing the monthly intercompany reconciliation process, investigating, and resolving differences between the various entities.
- Preparation of the related statutory accounts and assist the head of tax where with local tax packs.
- Help drive process improvements with the mindset of continuous improvement, with a focus on efficiency.
- Assisting with the Group budget process
What you'll need to succeed
- Professional accounting qualification or part-qualified if accompanied with relevant experience
- Previous experience in a similar Group Consolidation role would be advantageous but most important is the drive, energy and enthusiasm to support the growth of the group finance team.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting standards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High energy levels to be able to develop relationships globally.
- Advanced Excel skills
