CMA Recruitment Group is working with a manufacturing organisation based in Andover are who are looking for a Cost Accountant to join their team initially on a temporary basis. You will have previous experience of working for a manufacturing/FMCG organisation. Ideally you will be available to start working within a couple of weeks.
What will the Cost Accountant role involve?
- Develop and maintain accurate product cost standards, including materials, labour, and overhead.
- Analyse production costs and variances, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Partner with production and finance teams to develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Monitor actual costs against budgets, identifying and addressing variances.
Suitable Candidate for the Cost Accountant vacancy:
- Understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes.
- Advanced Power BI and Excel capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on actionable outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills..
