Job Description:
The teaching assistant position at the SEN school in the Andover area involves a range of duties aimed at supporting both students and teachers. You will provide tailored support to students, including those with complex learning difficulties, ensuring they receive the individual attention and guidance necessary for their academic development. This will include one-on-one assistance as well as small group activities, creating an environment where every student feels supported and encouraged to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Implement school policies as outlined in documentation and directed by the Headteacher.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Act as a positive representative of the school in the community.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information encountered during duties.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Comply with the school's Equal Opportunities policy.

Requirements:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience working with SEN/SEND students is an advantage.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Enthusiastic about bringing creativity and energy into the classroom.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Able to challenge, motivate, and inspire young learners.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.

Qualifications:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Relevant qualifications in Teaching Assistance or Education are advantageous but not essential.
