Our client, a well-established organisation, is looking for a Claims Assistant to join their dynamic team in Huthwaite. As a Claims Assistant, you will provide crucial administrative support to ensure all claims are managed efficiently and effectively.
Summary:
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months
- Location: Huthwaite
- Pay Rate: 19.81 per hour
- Hours: 37 per week Monday to Friday (all onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Receive, assess, and resolve all claims on behalf of our client
- Negotiate the best deal for claim settlement
- Provide specialist advice on the best course of action, considering company policies and regulations
- Collaborate with external claimants to facilitate early settlement and minimise costs
- Train, coach, and advise managers and less experienced staff on claims procedures
- Instruct loss adjusters, agents, or solicitors, ensuring actions align with the organisation's best interests
- Maintain accurate records of all claims according to established procedures
- Manage a case load of claims, prioritising work and adhering to regulatory standards
- Handle customer issues professionally to achieve satisfactory outcomes
