Our client, a well-established organisation, is looking for a Claims Assistant to join their dynamic team in Huthwaite. As a Claims Assistant, you will provide crucial administrative support to ensure all claims are managed efficiently and effectively.

Summary:

  • Location: Huthwaite
  • Pay Rate: 19.81 per hour
  • Hours: 37 per week Monday to Friday (all onsite)

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, assess, and resolve all claims on behalf of our client
  • Negotiate the best deal for claim settlement
  • Provide specialist advice on the best course of action, considering company policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with external claimants to facilitate early settlement and minimise costs
  • Train, coach, and advise managers and less experienced staff on claims procedures
  • Instruct loss adjusters, agents, or solicitors, ensuring actions align with the organisation's best interests
  • Maintain accurate records of all claims according to established procedures
  • Manage a case load of claims, prioritising work and adhering to regulatory standards
  • Handle customer issues professionally to achieve satisfactory outcomes
