Your new company
Hays Education are supporting a primary school in Huyton as they are looking to recruit an experienced teaching assistant to support KS1 and KS2 classes. This is a temporary, long-term role starting from as soon as possible.

Your new role
In your new role in the school, you will be supporting KS1 and KS2 classes. You will be working alongside the class teacher to help deliver curriculum effectively, working 1:1 and in groups specifically with SEN pupils.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered in your application, you must have full 'Right to work' in the UK as well as:

  • 1+ years experience working within children/in a school
  • Experience working with SEN pupils
  • Be able to offer 1:1 and group sessions
  • Level 1+ Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
  • Strong relationship building skills
