Our client is a well-established, expanding business who have doubled turnover in the last 3 years. With continued growth plans over the next 2-5 years, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small finance team gaining lots of exposure for your career. We are looking for an AAT L4 or ACCA/CIMA studying candidate with strong accounts experience.

Role:

Assisting with the production of management accounts alongside the Financial Controller
Bank postings & daily bank reconciliations
Monthly analysis across sales/marketing/commercial where required
Balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings, accruals and prepayments
Quarterly VAT returns, liaising with other areas of the business
Working with non-finance stakeholders to assist with analysis and decision making
Utilising PowerBI and SQL to pull data queries for departments
Working closely with purchase & sales ledger to ensure timely processing
Assisting Financial Controller & CFO with ad-hoc finance tasks

Experience:

AAT L4 or CIMA/ACCA studier - essential
Experience preparing management accounts - essential
PowerBI (or similar) and SQL experience - essential
Pro-active and agile approach, always looking to improve/change where possible
Experience in a stock based business highly desirable but not essential
