GI Group are currently seeking a dedicated experienced Industrial Cleaner at our Food Manufacturing client based in Hyde, Manchester. We require a reliable Industrial Cleaner to maintain safe working practices across site and continuously improve the hygiene practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine cleaning tasks including mopping, toilet cleaning, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting and sanitising surfaces safely and to a high standard
* Clean floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as per the cleaning schedule
* Dispose of waste materials in accordance with company procedures
* Handle cleaning supplies and equipment responsibly.
* Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and report shortages
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Assist with ad-hoc cleaning tasks as needed
* Ensure that all paperwork in correctly completed.
Requirements:
* Must have previous experience in cleaning
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety protocols
* Ability to work efficiently and independently
* Ability to lift and move heavy items
* Strong attention to detail
* Flexible and reliable
Hours of work:
* Afternoon Shift: 10:00 - 18:00
* Whilst training you will be required to work 06:00 to 14:00
* Monday to Friday
