Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Days Only!
Salary: £43,000
Location: Hyde
Shift: 6am - 1:30pm / 1:30pm - 9pm (Earlier finish on Fridays)
We’re looking for a hands-on, proactive Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you’ll be responsible for fault diagnosis, electrical/mechanical repairs, and maintenance of machinery, including automated assembly cells, injection moulding, and hydraulic presses.
Key Responsibilities for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- Reactive & planned maintenance across the site
- Electrical installations (armored cabling, lighting, power)
- Fault finding, diagnosis, and repairs on plant, machinery, and building services
- Supporting new machinery and equipment installations
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and legislation
- Assisting in apprentice training and team development
Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- Experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment
- Apprentice trained or minimum Level 3 Electrical Qualification
- Must be able to fault find on PLC'sÂ
