Rotating shifts, Night Shift, 6 days working pattern

GI Group are currently seeking dedicated food production operatives on behalf of one of our prestigious client who are the biggest producer of prepared meals and making delicious chilled and frozen ready meals for the UK. Our Food Manufacturing client based in Hyde, Manchester requires a large number of Food Production Operatives to join their team immediately.
As a Food Production Operative, you will work in a chilled food environment and will be responsible for handling, packing and palletising of the meat products through the manufacturing process. The role is in an ambient manufacturing environment and all personal protective equipment will be provided including safety footwear, overalls and gloves.
Key role and key responsibilities include:
* Be comfortable working and packing in a busy indoor meat manufacturing area.
* Manual handling will be involved in this role including pushing and lifting
* Workers must be able to handle raw meat
* Workers must demonstrate reliability
* Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
* Can work to targets and deadlines and is flexible in their approach
* You must be comfortable with standing for long period
* Ability to complete required standard of work at full line speed.
* Able to work with and contribute as part of a large site team and to multi-task
* Work within the food safety/ health and safety and specific site regulations.
* Performs other duties as requested by Area Manager.
Hours of work:
* Rotating weekly: 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00
* Night Shift: 22:00 - 06:00
* 6 day working (includes working every other Sunday)- 06:00- 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 / 06:00- 18:00
