Administrator (Operational Support) - Utilities

Our Role

Reportinginto theAdmin& Programme Manager. As a teamAdministratoris thekey contact during worksfor the operational team.Theadministratorwill ensure that all operational teams are able to undertake their workin linewith NRSWA andensure that timescales are adhered to minimising anyfinancial impactto the company.Theywillmaintainthe below aspects of the process.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to:

Ensure the collation, co-ordination and distribution of the operational safe dig/job packs

Support planners/operations with scheduling work in works management system

• Understand the works system and work to the processes accordingly

Management/cleansing of jobs in works management system

• Maintain timely and accurate input and uploading of information into the works management systems, ensuring that all issues are recorded and escalated.

Compiling thedailywhereabouts

Driving continual improvements with the Operational teams

• Sending daily analysis
• Manage internal trackers site clears
• Liaise with Supervisors and sub-contract teams to ensure programmes are delivered ensuring that all the client and operational requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner.
• Run and circulate daily jeopardy reports as required
• Monitor and chase any outstanding issues
• Provide general admin/ad hoc support
• Provide a positive and innovative input into the team, through provision of solutions to problems and embracing change
• Ensure that safety issues are reported in line with Company procedures

Key Responsibilities

• To Monitor & be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of all the activities of works to ensure they meet their statutory obligations. UseSWMsystems in line with business management systems. To assess and coordinate data that has been entered onto the councils computerised systems known asSWMand respond to where necessary.

• Escalate compliance issues where appropriate

• Liaising with local authoritys and client representatives

• Opening, co-ordination and closing of street work notifications

• Run daily reports asrequired

• Monitor and chase any outstanding issues

• Use initiative, prioritise workload and work unsupervised.

• Any ad hoc activities that arerequiredto support the contract.

• Own any highways related queries to resolution

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience of working within the Utilities sector advantage but not essential training provided
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in an organised manner to meet important deadlines
• In depth understanding of the operational activity
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively under pressure
