On behalf of my client school, I am shortlisting for a SEND teacher in one of my primary schools in Hyde, Tameside. This role is to start ASAP and will pay to scale (MPS1-6) from day one. This is a mainstream school with a SEND resource base which is well facilitated and driven by strong leadership and supportive staff. Whether you're an ECT or experienced staff member, the school welcome applications from those with direct experience with SEND provision.The Hive ??????The resource base comprises of children of mixed ages who are predominantly operating at KS1 level. A few of the children also have 1:1 support so you will be supported by TA's and an effective team all driven to achieve fantastic progress with the children. The needs of the children mainly include MLD and Speech and language.The classroom is set up with continous provision activities but there will be directed input for Maths and English as well as opportunities to support pupils on an individual basis. This role would be perfect for teacher with a passion for SEND and those who like varied days of 1:1 / small group work and whole class teaching.
