Manufacturing Manager

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing / Production Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient manufacturing, assembly, and quality of our diverse component product range. This role involves leading a dedicated production team, focusing on resource management, production planning, and maintaining high-quality standards to meet company objectives.

This position is ideal for an experienced manufacturing professional with strong leadership skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a hands-on environment. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a solid background in production planning, supply chain management, and quality control. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and engineering drawings would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Component Manufacturing Division, supporting the Production Director.
• Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring efficient department performance.
• Manage resources effectively to meet production targets and objectives.
• Utilise internal systems for production planning and stock management.
• Ensure all manufactured components meet quality standards and company requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Manufacturing Manager / Production Manager role
• Knowledge of manufacturing, assembly, stocking, quality, planning & supply chain.
• Experience within Injection Moulding / Plastics would be advantageous
• Ability to interpret Engineering drawings desirable.

Salary: £45k - £50k (dependent on experience).
Location: Hyde
Permanent
Working Hours: 8am - 5pm, Mon-Friday.
