As part of a close-knit team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects, including CAT A and CAT B fit-outs, as well as construction projects involving groundworks, and steel frames.

Position Overview
We are seeking an Estimator with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join our Stockport-based team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both fit-out and new-build projects, with experience in CAT A and CAT B schemes. The successful candidate will work on a range of projects within the retail, leisure, and commercial sectors, including complex builds involving groundworks, cladding, and steel frames.

Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Cost Management: Accurately prepare cost estimates for projects, including both fit-out and new-build schemes.
Project Assessment: Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and requirements to ensure accurate costings.
Tender Preparation: Prepare competitive tenders for a wide variety of projects, ensuring all requirements are met.
Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate project costing and smooth project execution.
Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with the procurement team to source materials and services, ensuring projects remain within budget.
Project Variety: Work on a range of retail and leisure projects, including high-profile fit-outs and new builds, often involving complex groundworks and steel frame structures.
Team Collaboration: Work as part of a close-knit team, collaborating with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

Key Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in estimating, ideally within the retail, leisure, and commercial sectors.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects as well as new-build schemes, including groundworks, and steel frame construction.
Attention to Detail: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications with precision.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in using relevant estimating software and MS Office applications.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a small, dynamic team.
