This role is available for an immediate start on a permanent, full-time basis. It's an exciting opportunity to work closely with teachers and students, contributing to a positive learning environment and making a meaningful difference in children's education.
Key Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS2
- Providing 1:1 or small group support to students who may need additional help with their learning
- Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Contributing to the planning and preparation of learning activities and materials
- Helping monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents
- Promoting the social and emotional well-being of all pupils
The ideal Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Have prior experience working with primary-aged children
- Be passionate about supporting children's education and well-being
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be flexible, patient, and willing to work as part of a team
- Have a positive attitude and a proactive approach to helping children reach their full potential
