ROLE
We’re looking for an ISM Supplier Operations Assurance Lead to work within the Supplier Governance and Controls (SG&C) team to be responsible for supplier performance (including budget, risk management and reporting). Drive supplier performance management and performance rectification for suppliers, reporting to the assigned Head of Supplier Delivery
Work with other parts of DCC to understand end-customer experience of service delivery and use this in dialogue with suppliers to drive good supplier performance Working seamlessly with Commercial and other parts of DCC to deliver end-end contract management
Support ISM in the identification of risks arising from the outsourcing of services. Support the Heads of Supplier Management and Operational Supplier Managers as required in assuring and auditing supplier risk practices. Support the Director of ISM in managing ISM’s functional risks
What will you be doing?
- Supplier Management in a complexed environment, must have regulatory experience and experience of difficult stakeholder engagement and relationship maintenance.
- Be responsible for interfacing with the Enterprise Risk team to support DCC risk management framework, create risk management reports and deliver to key stakeholders, nominated risk lead.
- Perform audit and assurance activities to regularly review and ensure adherence to controls, processes, documentation and procedures.
- Be responsible for ensuring that supplier performance meets performance obligations and service level agreements.
- Be responsible for accuracy of forecasted 'run’ budget with suppliers
What are we looking for?
An individual with the following experience, skills and qualifications
- Supplier management procedures
- Stakeholder management and issue resolution to drive operational benefits
- Proven in building relationships and leveraging these to drive continuous improvement and ongoing value for money
- Managing supplier budgets and supplier risk management across a disaggregated supply chain and developing supplier performance reviews
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment where priorities may change on a weekly basis
- Working in a regulated environment within Telco/Energy/Infrastructure/Technology sectors.
- Experience in cost management processes (such as processing invoices)
