Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to advance your career in accounting? We are recruiting for a dynamic and forward-thinking Management Accountant on behalf of our client, a growing company that prides itself on innovation and financial excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior business leaders, providing key financial insights that will drive decision-making and business success.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of the company. Your main duties will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and delivering insightful reports to business leaders.
  • Sales reporting and calculating commissions and bonuses.
  • Ensuring accurate ledger postings and reviewing accounting entries.
  • Performing checks on sales pricing and reporting on margins to drive profitability.
  • Analysing departmental spending against budget forecasts.
  • Assisting with annual forecasting and business plan financials.
  • Managing balance sheet reconciliations and posting journals at month-end.
  • Overseeing the financials for the Dubai office and providing commentary on performance.
  • Supporting external audits and liaising with auditors to provide required information.
  • Managing company vehicles, including maintaining insurance and toll accounts.
  • Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns.
  • Overseeing the purchase ledger, ensuring cut-off adherence, and posting accruals.
  • Producing ad-hoc financial reports as requested by business leaders.
  • Providing holiday cover for the finance department when necessary.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive and confident, able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably studying towards ACCA or CIMA (but not essential).
  • Previous experience in a management accounting role is highly desirable.
