We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Home Manager to lead the commissioning of a brand new, state-of-the-art elderly nursing home located in Hythe, UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care for the elderly and is looking to be a part of something new and innovative.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the commissioning process of the new nursing home, ensuring all necessary preparations are completed in a timely and efficient mannerDevelop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the homeRecruit, train, and manage a team of dedicated staff to provide high-quality care for residentsMaintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents, their families, and staffMonitor and manage the home's budget, ensuring financial targets are metMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirementsFoster positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholdersContinuously evaluate and improve the quality of care provided to residentsHandle any issues or concerns that may arise and take appropriate action to resolve themRequirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Home Manager in a similar settingStrong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of current regulations and legislation related to the care of the elderlyProven track record of delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomesAbility to work under pressure and make sound decisionsExperience in commissioning a new nursing home is highly desirableNVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or RGN or equivalentIf you have a passion for providing exceptional care and are looking for a new and exciting challenge, we would love to hear from you.
