Technical Process Production Planner required in Hythe Kent. Monday to Friday 39 hours day shift. The Technical ProcessProductionPlanner is needed to expand the technical department due to the rapid growth of the sectors that the company is involved in.
Within this role, the applicant will work within the technical team on planning new work which will include drawing control, best route of manufacture and bill of materials. Ensuring all new work is planned, and machine programs are processed in a timely manner to ensure that the customer lead times are achievable.
The successful Technical Process Production Planner applicant should have the following:
Ability to read technical drawings
Good understanding of manufacturing processes
Good knowledge of SolidWorks (trainingcan beprovided)
Able to work as part of a team and on their own
Highly motivated
Understanding of measuring equipment
Problem solving skills
Mathematical mindset
Good computer skills using email, word and excel along with others
Reporting to the technical manager, the Technical Process Production Planner role will be a mixture of shop floor based and office-based activities.Having a hands-on approach to be able to support the production department will have an influence in building up the required skill base to be able to problem solve and assist the whole company,
