Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm
Location: Southampton
Start date: ASAP/March
Pay: £85-90 per day
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience of working in an educational setting
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience of working with pupils with SEND/SEMH/challenging behaviour
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â A passion for the progress of pupils
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â An ability to work as part of a team
The School and Role
An Alternative Provision school based in Southampton are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. The school caters for primary and secondary aged pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as challenging behaviour. The successful SEMH Support Assistant will be required to work 1-1 or in small classes, assisting pupils academically as well as overcoming barriers to learning and supporting them emotionally.
