Technical Production Planner

Monday-Friday (early finish on Fridays!)

My client is looking for a Technical Production Planner to join their growing organisation in a mixed role between office based and hands-on. If you have experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, Bill of Materials, and an understanding of manufacturing processes, then this could be the role for you!

As a Technical Production Planner, you will be:

  • Planning all new work that comes.
  • Producing technical drawings .
  • Producing Bill of Materials.
  • Planning the best route of manufacture for every product.
  • Ensuring machine programs are processed in time for the manufacturing process to begin.
  • Producing expected timelines for each product and ensuring each product meets customer lead times.
  • Any other duties required.

The Technical Production Planner will have / be:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with an understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • An understanding of measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Excel, emails, etc.
