About the role:
We are seeking a Sign Maker to run our sign shop based in Lympne, Kent.
This role offers the perfect opportunity to blend leadership with hands-on design and production. You’ll lead a small creative team, shaping the visual identity of a growing business while delivering high-quality content ensuring creative outputs are on-brand, commercially driven and engaging.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Preparation of tenders and quotations.
-Â Preparation of designs.
- Site visits for planning works.
- Scheduling of work – liaising with the client/contractors.
- Preparation of accounts for invoicing.
- Control of office systems and files.
- Purchasing of all materials.
- Manage and mentor the team, providing guidance, feedback and support.
- Maintain high standards of quality across all projects.
- Carry out other reasonable duties within your capabilities as requested and instructed  to meet the needs of the business.
Required Skills
- Experience with Illustrator and CorelDRAW would be advantageous
- Strong design, layout and typography expertise preferred
- Commercial mindset
- Proven ability to lead projects and deliver work within brand guidelines.
- Confident, Self-managing, able to work on own initiative.
- Good Attitude / Work Ethic / Team Player.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Strong Attention to detail.
- Ability to lead by and set a good example.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
