We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join our team on our Head office team at Leicester LE67 2HS

Job Purpose:

Ensures accurate and timely sales performance analysis which provides actionable insights that guide sales strategy, support decision-making, and drive revenue growth.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Business Reporting Working closely and partnering with the sales teams develop comprehensive reporting covering the key business KPIs. Delivery of ad-hoc reports to support insight and drive performance improvement.
  • Automation & Process Improvement Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks related to data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Budget and Forecasting Support the forecasting and budgeting process carried out with the sales teams.
  • Bridge Between Business and Technical Teams. Act as a liaison between non technical business units and technical teams. Ensuring solutions align with business needs and goals.
  • System Testing & Validation Work with business and technical teams to define test cases and ensure systems meet business requirements before rollout and perform UAT or coordinate the process.
  • Transformation Project Involvement: Actively participate in key business transformation projects by leveraging analytical expertise and insights. This includes driving improvements in areas such as sales reporting, forecasting, pricing, and data management systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Strong Excel with ability to manipulate large volumes of data.
  • Power BI experience.
  • Databricks experience.
  • Cognos reporting tool and analytics experience
  • Self-starter and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Management of assignments within specified deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Teamwork with both internal and external customers.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Comfortable communicating at all levels.
  • Thorough understanding of business drivers and trading conditions.
  • Understanding company culture and processes.
